Finished breakfast at breakwater resort. They offered bread omlet, bread and jam and poori saagu. I took bread omlet and felt stomach ache later. Gopika took poori saagu which was not good. Shriharsha asked me to leave early for the coral watching. We were targeting 8:30 am. We had to hurry up. I called driver and he came early and took us to lakshampur beach. We were welcomed by a local guide. He demanded 1500 rs for showing marine life and corals in that area. This is possible only during low tide. I negotiated for 1000 rs. I kept waterproof pouch for my mobile at another bag. Which i repented later. Guide took us around. He showed natural bridge which was made because of dead corals. He showed star fishes, spider crab, sea urchin which is poisonous, one which is not poisonous, sea cucumber, shrimps, veriety of fishes including zebr
a fish, parrot fish, neon tetra etc. I captured a video of underwater during feeding the fishes. Guide offered his pouch for protecting my mobile from water. Shyam was curious but he came wearing his shoe instead. He had to wear a sandal. This was somehow irritating him. Soon guide's work was done and he had to leave. We went ahead towards natural bridge 2. On the way we saw a dead sea snake. I have read these snakes are poisonous. We were supposed to come back to parking area by 9:45 am. But we managed to come back by 10:10 am. It was amazing experience. We should have spent much more time here. The beach was picturesque. I couldn't take many photos. Now we had to leave for jetty where we will be boarding a our ship back to Port Blair.
Jetty was crowded. We stayed on road side for few minutes. I went and got us checked-in.
Driver David picked us. We asked him if we can drop our luggage at hotel and then proceed for lunch. He insisted that we finish our lunch first. We wanted to go for punjabi dhaba. As it was closed driver took us to a vegetarian hotel after insisting that we want to have food only at vegetarian food. This hotel was vacant, sketchy. We had a bad experience. Paneer butter masala was stale. We wanted to have some sweets next to this restaurant. Serving was delayed. May be driver got pissed off. He dropped us near the hotel. Since hotel is at the narrow lane, he dropped us nearby. We had to push our luggage to the hotel. This was another bad experience. After he left no one came to pick us. We waited for long time. Even though transport coordinator called us, there was no solution at sight. I had to complain this to Harsha. Finally at around 4:45 pm a cab came to pick us to corbyn cove beach. We got a chance to see other parts of Andaman. Here even though tourism is one of the income, people are not so much into it. Majority seems to be leading normal life as we do in Bangalore. No night life. One way it's good. It's protecting city from drunkards. People here have a laid back approach. Time seems to be eternal for them. At corbyn cove beach, we had a choice of using adventure activities. As it was already getting dark, we did not go for any activity. We sat at one place and enjoyed the evening. We watched how all the jet ski boats were tow back to the shore. There were couples engaged in capturing endless selfies. Kids still wanted to play in water. Families wanted to take photos in different poses. At the distance paragliding was going on. Here around 5:20 sun sets. Soon it will be dark.
Driver took us to a local shop, where Gopi and Shaalmali purchased few souvenirs. I felt tired among huge crowd inside the shop. There were beautiful art works like lamp, door hanger etc made up of shells and other artifacts from sea. I came out with Shyam and waited them to finish the purchase.
Once again we took packed food from punjabi dhaba to hotel and ate after taking nice shower.
Later we had to spend sometime for packing our stuff.
